pickups to EMG's 81 and 89?

of course you can. however, if your guitar needs an additional routing for battery storage, i'd say it's too much money for its worth.

yes you can bro.. except for the middle pickup maybe you can put EMG FT pickups or something..

but do know what kind of sound you are looking for before changing your pickups.

Definitely. I think battery storage shouldn't be much of a problem. You can hide it under the pickguard, or if not just tape it to the side or back of the guitar. Of course, if you tape it it wouldn't look as classy, but it'll get the job done.
