Cable problems

Hey fellows just want to ask a question:

I bought my guitar about half a month ago. However, something's wrong with the connection from my amp to the guitar. Every time I connect the the amp and guitar with my cable, no sound comes out from the speakers (even with the amplifier on, volume at high and treble, middle and bass all tuned so that it's not at zero). I have to adjust the POSITION of my cable in such a way that the connection works at a certain 'sweet spot' , to the point where i have to hang my cable over my guitar head. Other than that, no sound. Anyone knows what happened? And how do you solve it?

either your cable or your guitar's input jack got connection problem. Check the soldering if you know how, if not send to a tech(Bring both cable and guitar to the tech).

The wire connection in the cable is probably loose..would recommend you to get a new one instead..You can get one below $15,i got a vox cable for $8 after the discount at citymusic

borrow a cable from your friend & give that a try- if it works, you'll know the culprit.
