I reccommend the Dimarzio Breeds. I use them and they are very very good.

In Harmony Central, the Breeds only have good comments for them, on the other hand, its louder brother, the Evolutions, have been critised for being too cold sounding.

On clean, with split hums, they sound very acoustic with a chiming quality. The neck hum has a good warm tone thats not too jazz warm, which wouldn't be very hard rocking wouldn't it... heh...

On distortion, the Breeds have excellent chord clarity, you can hear individual notes very clearly.

Take a listen to them at the dimarzio site, or listen to my recordings... all with an Ibanez S520EX guitar , Marshall MG30 and the Breeds...
