Buying guitars from Amazon?

The other day, I was buying some books and clothes off Amazon.com, and I stumbled upon many different guitars from Gibson and Fender.

Not sure if they ship to Singapore directly though.

Have any of you bought guitars off amazon"?

here are the guitars that qualify for the free shipping program. items more than 20 pounds in weight will not be eligible for free shipping though

there is quite a nice selection from fender, schecter, ibanez and the other big brands so its worth a look

i believe that for guitars that cost more than 300usd there will be a tax of 10% incurred in addition to the listed price so keep that in mind

Amazon's shipping rates are more desirable than other 3rd party lists. if you do not opt for a faster shipping option, the default option could be an agonizing wait. also, if your guitar/ other fragile instruments don't come in a hard case, please factor in the likelihood of handling issues.

Most of the guitars in the list cannot be shipped to Singapore. You have to put the item in your cart and try checking out to see if it can be shipped to us here.

Also, GST is charged at 7% for amounts above $400, including shipping costs.

No, it cannot be shipped here, period. Big difference from no free shipping.

its overpriced from amazon...depends on what brand you want..

better to get it from the shops..email them and they give better prices
