busted dano eq - HELP!

everytime i turn my power supply on. my dano fish and chips will automatically turn on by itself; followed by a squealing loud noise that comes out from my amp

its not supposed to be on unless i stomp on it so is my pedal busted?or is it my power supply/patch cable?

help PLS!

try turning on ur effects before u turn on the amp. My old behringer used to be set on ON when it's powered up.
