Bruce Dickinson : Commercial Pilot.

I know this doesn't strictly belong here, but does anyone know that Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden is a licensed commercial pilot? He flies Boeing 757's and 737's among other planes including the Airbus A320, etc.

The guy recently flew a 757 to the Middle East to airlift 200 people escaping the Lebanon/Beiruit conflict back to Britain.

Think Iron Maiden are full of multi talented ppl. Look at Steve Harris, he could have been a West Ham United football legend if he didnt pursue music as a career..think his final decision in the past was the best, no doubt : )

old story liao. long ago NGC interviewed him n some of the current programs he appears on some major cable tv channels if its regarding aeroplanes or anything aero :lol: Also last time there was a news article where it was said that he blasts iron maiden songs during flight. how cool is that.

talking abt prominent musicians, there are ppl like this. but rare. there is one tech melo death metal drummer who has B.Eng, M.Sc, and finally Ph.D in Physics/Medical Physics. He is a prominent research figure in the radiosurgery field. these are the ppl i really admire, they are the epitome of a true musician, and a source of inspiration.
