bridge too high.

hi. my guitar's bridge is too high. i read online that i can either do a tremolo block or tighten the springs behind. which way would be better?

U see there are 2 screws at the bridge in this picture? Adjust those for the action.
 
Yes, That's what you are talking about right? Unless you are saying that the bridge is in a floating position and it's way to high tilting towards the neck. If that the case, open up the back plate cover and screw further in, the 2 screws for the tremolo claw.
 
anyway, i've made the bridge leveled. for now. Haha.

and what are saddles btw? i'm quite a loser in guitar. lol.
 
saddles are the 6 pieces of metal on the bridge. They are the things you set for individual string height. Well if the action is fine after leveling the bridge, everything should be fine. adjust the saddles only if you have crazy buzzing or dead spots.
