well good advise from shred and sub as usual..
but in regards to harmonics..the pickup is just a tool...u need to execute and practice to get gd harmonics...its all in the technic and fingers..

for pu ..i like full shred,invader..i belive the`re alnico...ceramic are powerfull but to me abit liveless ...eg the duncan distortion bridge ... its a lov hate kinda situation...but duncan neck is nice..

well there is no right or wrong , just options for you..

oh fyi ..in one of my guitar i got dual x2n ...solid as well..able to chug,roll off real nice ..and can split as shred mention ...

siow ar..hehe...aiya i put that in for testing only..its a project guitar man thus i seldom use it.. as i got other favs combi (full shred and invader)
fyi i got the x2n during the swee lee sale...

eh shred ..actually i got another black x2n on a yamaha baritone guitar..the tone shiok...
