Just wanna share with everyone some news about Brandon Khoo (My Idol) here..

He would be performing at The Singapore Drum Fest 2008 held @ Fort Canning Center, he will be performing on Day 2 of the Main Event which is 14th September 2008 (Sunday) at 12PM! Check out the schedule for Drum Fest Day 2

Ok so what is Brandon Khoo doing now.. he is a very very busy man.. playing with Shirlyn & the UnXpected at Wala Wala and AMP (Ang Mo Pai) recording drums for songs that are on Movies & TeeVee & Teaching too!!! Here's 2 of the most recent songs, Brandon & his drums are involved in

The song that Brandon played with AMP, "Jit Ba Ban"/ 一百萬 / One Million- went up to Number 14 on our Local 100.3FM Charts as of 5th September 2008! Hooray!!

hahha power la brandon, got fanss from all over.

Last night brandon was just sharing with me what he's been busy with lately, and as I was watching those vids via youtube, esp that opening song for the chinese series starrin fann wong. Drumming is damn power man. Not that stereo typical 2 n 4 mando pop drum beat. (I just had to emphasize 0.15 onwards HAHA)

He's also gonna do some re-recorded tracks from the past for the drumfest, definitely gonna be a blast!

I love Brandon. A wonderful fella, amazing musician, incredible discipline and passion, and yet absolutely no airs or ego.

I remember once he told me that most of his practice was drumming on his thighs at home.

I frequent the www.virgildonati.com forum regularly..and people around the world would travel long distances even across the continent to see virgil perform... enjoy this privilege to watch Virgil Doanti in the flesh cos he's a living legend! he's one of my inspirations as well... can't do what he is capable of, but definately an inspiration to me.

saw him last when he came to singapore the first time...pity... not many people went though... you guys got a second chance now... enjoy!

if i dont get to see any of you guys on either day... ABSORB...ABSORB!!!

the first time i saw him was in the DVD with Steve Vai (Live in Astoria), and boy did he blow me away with his style and technique.
It must feel so unbelievably awesome to be on the bill with him.
