anybody here have tried these pedals? can explain how it sounds?thanks for the input.
-DSD-3 Digital Sampler/Delay
-DC-3 Dimension C
-FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz

i wouldn't deem it as 'isn't as good' but EH is one of the pioneers of the fuzz type drive, they set the standard & it's quite unsurpassed in the non-boutique market. after trying one, you'd know that there's much dedication put into the product. i've tremendous respect for the Big Muff, i'm not a fuzz fan but i bought one anyway... 8)

the Hyper Fuzz IMO is another necessary filler in the BOSS range, in the name of competition. i've nothing against BOSS, i love their Blues Driver...

I dont know about FZ-2 but I'm very sure that DSD-3 and DC-3 are sought after by collectors. check ebay, you can hardly find them hanging around.

regarding the DSD-2 and DSD-3, not many people use them on their pedalboards as their uses are pretty much limited. imo, I think the RC-2- or RC20XL can do the job of a DSD-2 or DSD-3. I'm not 100% sure so dont quote me on that.

the DSD-3 would most definitely be cheaper as compared to the DSD-2 due to the price it was sold at back then.

just for your information, DC-2 is analog while DC-3 is digital. I have a DC-2 and its a subtle chorus. the cool thing about these pedals is that it has both stereo and mono output. then again, they are both super hard to find. Ebenexmusic has a DC-3 priced at $200 though. if you want, you can go test it out.

however if you have found them, tell me the location  .

anyway, more information can be found at www.bossarea.com

I got a dc-3. The dc-3 is different from other analog chorus as it dont give you that wavering, detune sound of a typical chorus pedal. It is technically more of a "spatial" pedal that gives you clear, space dimensioning effect.
But you can still get the detune sound, if you tweak the depth knob at full.

A good effect - for creating acoustic space dimension and also that o' time leslie speaker effect, but bloody energy consumming. must power with a AC supply. Will deplete an Energiser within 20min of play!

I never dared to power those boss modulation pedals by batteries. they eat the battery like nothing  .

anyway, DC-3 is a good effect despite being digital. try it.
