heh heh, I still have one MIJ DD-3 kept in my drawer for a rainy day 
. its the earlier version without that big chip which can be repaired easily if some part were to fail someday. I've seen many DD-3s being scrapped just because that chip blew. if I'm not mistaken, that chip can only be bought from Boss itself.
