get a ds1, dd3, mt2 for future mods,

that should be all that you need for now, i'm making an assumption here, seeing that ur into boss pedals for now.

Very general question indeed...

I suggest you get a:

* DS-1 (Distortion) or MT-2 (Metal Zone) for your distortion needs

and

* GE-7 (Equalizer) for tone or even as a booster.

i play mostly gnr, metallica sort of stuff.i have a les paul ultra and a les paul studio,using a marshall microstack.i used to have some marshall and ibanez pedals, but the sound is....not very impressive

you might want to blame it on your pickups or amp. its not ALWAYS the pedals. i for one think ibanez makes not the best, but very very decent pedals for their pricerange, thats for the 7-series of pedals. as for the 9 series, im overly happy with it.

for a start, a ZHNG-ed mt2 should get you happy.

Yup. Maybe. You see, I can only squeeze 12 of them.. okay, 10 of them (less the 2 PSM-5) into the two BCBs. Let me see.. there's still one more HR-2 MIB, one MIJ GE-7 MIB, one MIJ BF-2, and an AW-2 under that cushion.. okay, not forgetting a Monti Allum MT-2 :lol:

By the way, who can ever out-collect david (ebenex)? unless the person's a guitar shop towkay. :lol:
