do any of you guys know where i can get modifications done for a DS-1 and the price to mod it? i'm considering between the keely mod and the rectifier mod. if you guys know the difference it would help too. thanks so much everyone!

Proud user ofthe Monte Allums rectifier mod and its awesome dude.....if possible get the Tri-Gain Rectifier Mod for more crunch plus you'll still have the Rectifier Mod sound..

LOL!!I just mentioned it dude...mine's a MIJ Boss DS-1 MonteAllums Rectifier Mod....pretty full rounded distortion.

how much did it cost you to mod it?

I bought the Rectifier Mod parts from his website and cost me approx. S$50...and i DIYed it myself.Just follow the simple instructions...simple as that.But you must have some soldering experience....

I did played thru the DS-1 before and after the mod...like i mentioned earlier there's a lot of difference in terms of warm and fuller distortion.

Yeah i have the values of the part and the brand/name...but i have promised not to disclose it.Sorry about that and its against my principle bro.......cause when you get them from MonteAllums he will email you the step by step procedure and the precautions...very detailed.

As for getting it from Sim Lim...not all of it though its pretty close of different makes.
