BOSS DD7 power supply problem

My BOSS DD-7 pedal has been experiencing problems since i recently switched to powering my PT nano pedalboard daisy chaining 5 pedals with a MOEN 9v adapter. Tap tempo function no longer works properly - it makes a squeaky sound then dies off after about 10 seconds. :( Tried switching cables, using the unit without footswitch, even powering it on my Voodoo lab ISO-5 on it's own etc. Same problem.

I'm certain something's happened to the pedal. Anyone experienced the same problem with BOSS pedals? I've used it with my ISO-5 previously on my PT Junior with no problems.

Your ISO5 has a 12v output which supports Boss's requirement for unregulated 9V power, not too sure about your current Moen. Does your Boss specify PSA or ACA on the little sticker at the power input? You can also see the label at the bottom if it needs PSA or ACA.

Does it work properly with a battery?

DD7 uses PSA - shouldn't be an issue. And yes, i tested it with the ISO5's 9v output, and also with the Moen on it's own. No luck :(
