sheesh. its this kinda thread again.

what I know is:

-DD-2 is the older brother of DD-3.

-DD-2 is more expensive than DD-3.

-DD-2 is made in Japan whereas DD-3 is made in Japan and later, Taiwan.

-DD-2 is more natural sounding than the later versions DD-3.

-DD-2 has the same circuit as the DD-3 only in the 1st version of DD-3. (long chip version, sounds the same)

-DD-2 is more expensive than DD-3 in the old days cos the parts that were used to make the DD-2 were more expensive then.

-DD-2 is worth between $180 - $280 over here depending on condition and freebies.

why not you google about the history of the Boss DD-3 first? I'm sure it would help a whole lot.

something tells me that I should create a Boss pedal information thread. however, I do get irritated whenever someone asks for the price of boss pedals :? .

The "advantage" of the dd2 is that it doesn't trail. If you don't like your delays to go on after you step on it, then boss only has the dd2.
