Bono Vox of U2

Okay, here I am again with another U2-related thread. Yeah I admit I'm a big fanboy of them. I know Bono gets flak sometimes for his extra-musical work he does with his campaigning and all, and I agree with some of it. This thread though is mainly for discussion of Bono's vox. (Ooh lame pun!) Any lurking U2 fans can pop up and put in your two cent's worth.

Myself, I've always been a big fan of U2, and one of the things that first captivated me was Bono's piercing, powerful voice. I mean, the depth of emotion and adrenaline that man can convey just by a single note! I remember listening to the song he wrote about his dad, Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own, I think, and being blown away by that bit of opera he puts into the bridge. He hits a high, powerful A in the bridge there with so much emotion and feeling. Damn!

Will put up some videos if I can find it. In the meantime, Bono fans pop in and share your thoughts!
