Bodies and Necks

Hi all,

This is not the lastest episode of Hannibal; it is an annoucement of the arrival of our s'trat style bodies and necks. We have made the specs such that it will fit most s'trat style guitars with minimal modification.

Alder S'trat style bodies we have: (7 types)

1) Daphne Blue
2) Dakota Red
3) Olympic White (left handed)
4) Lake Placid Blue
5) 3 tone sunburst
6) Cherry Sunburst (HSH w/Flame top)
7) JM Racing Stripe (Arriving soon!)

Ash S'trat style bodies:

1) Transparent Amber
2) See through Blonde (Mary Kaye)
3) Tobacco Burst

All bodies come in SSS pickup routing. Requests for humbucker, P-90 and floyd rose routing will have a minimal additional fee.

S'trat style necks:

1) 60s (maple, satin finish, 7.25" radius)
2) 60s (rosewood board, gloss, 7.25" radius)
3) 70s (maple, gloss, bullet headstock, 9.5" radius
4) Anderson style (maple, satin, 12" radius)
5) Anderson style (rosewood board, satin, 12" radius)

These necks will fit any of our bodies and most other s'trat style bodies as well. Pictures and pricing will be updated soon. Come down to Zen Guitarwerkz and assemble the guitar of your dreams today!

oh kc, you've left out the quarter sawn maple necks that we have! Those are beauty! These bodies definitely are comparable to many custom guitar brands out in the market but their price will never match ours! Yeah i'm excited to announce the price guide too! Stay tuned!

Hahah yeah these s'trat bodies are for the start. We are looking into other body styles in the meantime and hopefully we can offer the t'ele versions soon!

Our Necks are all $300 each. add $25 for a 1/4 sawn neck. Bodies are between $350 - $450

Hey there I've a question...

Can we expect to see Superstrat options, and maybe even going as far as 7-strings in the future? Thanks! =)

The bodies are fairly customizable at this point; meaning you can have various bridge options and routing options. We don't offer a 24 fret option as a 24 fret guitar will alter the basic character of the s'trat, i.e the placement of the neck pickup has to be shifted back.

These bodies are essentially s'trat bodies, no doubt about that. However the customizable options would be the main feature. You can buy a completely assembled s'trat off the shelf but you may not like the vintage style bridge, or the pickups. Changing these 2 items alone can cost $600 or more including installation fees.

Also have you seen a nice guitar but wished the fingerboard was maple? We offer maple and rosewood so there's the added flexibility there. We won't claim that we are a full fledged 'anything you desire' custom shop but we offer much added flexibility and also fun when assembling a guitar.

Currently, we only offer s'trat style bodies simply because they are the most popular shape amongst guitars. We will consider adding more body types if things turn out well.
