Blue ukulele.

hey :)

i just bought an ukulele today. so i thought i might as well tell you what i saw at the shops i went to, to save you a trip.

I cant remember their sizes yup... here goes.

Ranking - 1 TGM ukelele there. I think it was $60. There was another with hawaiian trees on it, but it sounded like a real toy. Thats it, only 2. More stock coming in soon, said the sales guy.

Swee Lee - Congress which was sub $100. Completely pastel white. The lady there said there are other colours, but i didnt look for them, so perhaps if you wanted one in pastel blue, they MIGHT atually have it!! 3 Fender uku which were in the $300 to $600 range. Beautiful and so sweet sounding, but in the natural wood colours.

Davis - Samick UK-50 (which i bought for $60). its beautiful and sounds great for its price. Couple more ukuleles there, one had an inbuilt amp for plug-in.

Maestro - haha their uku's were nice, but pity they didnt have the one i wanted in stock. Check out their website for their uku catalog, but i dont think Maestro makes the kind you want.

??? (shop diagonal to maestro) - 2 ukus, one solid top ws going for $115. I think it was a sop, too tiny for me. the other was laminate, i think it was going for $30 to $60. Not sure.

good luck! i think sweelee is your best bet here. The congress guitar, ask abt it. But i think the Congress word on the headstock looks damn ugly.

haha
