Biggest Collection of Music On Sale!

whoa~ I bet some of the records or most are almost extinct! 50 million dollars worth... WOW. Last time no such thing as downloading music must buy cds...

wah USD3,000,000++

insane.really insane.can pick here and there maybe get a gross total of USD50.who knows they might have some stuff from my idol bands and artiste.

$3 million is insane! but i bet the seller is kicking himself for not accepting the $28million offer 9 years ago. hur hur.

The buyer is crazy! Really an idiot, c'mon 3mil for all those records that half of them probably wouldn't even get the chance to be listened to.

Maybe it consists mostly of NOW. Urghh..
But if there's Led Zep and Black Sabbath in side, I wouldn't mind stealing.

But that's just too much, you can't even listen to them. It'll take 57 years and 24 hours of NON-STOP music everyday. That means, you wouldn't even enjoy the music!

he should sell the records to some prison or something where they'll torture the victims with endless music

wow only 3million bucks thats really a freekin steal considering the value of some of the records plus the seller is practically giving the guy all the rights to this that & the other...........

man if i were swimmin in moolah whats 3 million to own a bloody warehouse in the US? and w the USD at such a low.......then i wld spend rest of my life walkin thru the isles sniffin and touchin those beautiful things.......MY......PRECIOUS............

I still think it's dumb. I rather build up my own empire of music that consists of my OWN favourite music.

Rather than put all those crap in a warehouse and coming once a month to check it.

*Goes in warehouse to look at the rows of records*
"Niiiiiiiiiiice"
*Leaves*

Lets do some simple calculation.

There're an average of 525,960 minutes in a year.

for 57 years and a day, its about 29,981,160 minutes.

If 1 min of mp3 = 1 MB (assuming 128 kBps) then we need 29,981,160 MB of space which is roughly 28.6 TB of space...

How do you store 28.6 TB of infomation? Get 29 of those 1TB Hitachi Deskstar drives! Haha

1 tb harddrive only costs about 300, so if you're willing to spend 3 million on records, I'm sure you're willing to spend another 7.2kish, to store 'em. Plus it would be a bitch to organize them.

I think it would crash the window's media player/itunes/gracenote database when ur com is retreving info to sort them out at 1mbps for like, 24 hours... Haha
