BhumiBand in APM 2005

Hi all,

BhumiBand has been nominated for 5 awards, including 2 regional categories for Anugerah Planet Muzik(APM), which is the local Malay music industry's awards show. Details at :

The awards show itself will be held on 18 February, Suntech Convention Hall. Tickets available at Muzika Records at Joo Chiat Complex. We will be the only local band performing alongside established artistes like Dewa, Siti Nurhaliza, Kris Dayanti, Peter Pan and Ruffedge, just to name a few. Do come down and support the event!

We will also be opening for Dewa on Sunday, February 27 at Fort Canning Park, details at the website below.

Lastly, we will be performing this Saturday, 22 January at Bishan Park 1 6.00pm, so do come down, kick back and enjoy our music if you can!

Many thanks to the people at soft.com for supporting us and also to heartrock singapore. We'll be representing local bands with pride. Let's hope our music industry kicks off soon.

Bhumiband

The first time I heard them play, i was in the same room as them, and they dripped magic. Dimaz went wow at the end of their warm up song and I knew they liked the room. And I knew I liked them in the room cos my hair was standing. Seriously, I never get tired of listening to them. They are a bunch of talented disciplined musicians who knows how to listen and play. They never argue. Just lotsa fun and music from the heart. Its always a pleasure having u guys play in the studio, a bigger pleasure recording for u too!

Love their song called Oh Kasih. Wonderful melody, chord changes, those guitar solo notes though Nazri could have played more beautifully. The album is enjoyable! You guys should go get it. The guitar playing was abit not steam though.
