Beware some of the competition!

Dear all,

If you wanna join competition, please join those competition which organise by famous organisation. Cos recently, some of the organisers are greedy and using audiences' voting to decide for the champion. Other than that, there is no limit for u to buy the vote stickers. Audiences' vote is 40% of the competition. The candidate's parents used over $100 to bought those vote stickers. Since in this case, the judges are just extra in the competition, and they aren't professional at all.

But if you think just for fun, then go ahead.

Just a reminder for you all. Must beware to this kind of competition.

care to elaborate?.. anw i dont see what's wrong for their parents to be supportive and spend the extra cash? i mean you can possible tell your fans and supporters as to how much they can spend voting?

It is nothing lah. In TV, you also must call = spend money to push your idol-to-be into the top.

I think I know which competition you are referring to..
Personally, I feel that voting is fine as long as it does not take up more than 20%..
If above, it will really affect the overall scores of the contestants..

What about those contestants that are good but happens to have no supporters around on that day?
It will really disappoint them because they had worked hard and performed well.. Yet, they got eliminated because they didnt have friends or family aound to vote for him/her.

Afterall, its a singing competition. Shouldn't it be base more on the contestant's singing abilities?

That is how music business works i guess.
With them around, we spend our money on them.
Without them, there wont be much competition going on.

I do not support money vote, i think is a kind of business. money vote defeat the purpose of regconising a Genuin Talent. people who can afford can afford to vote as much as they want. Winner win by $$$vote.
