Best "She's Gone" Cover by an Asian

Has this been mentioned before? I tried to search the related posts but couldn't find. Anyway, everytime I watch this on YouTube, I get goosebumps and give the guy a round of applause at the end. If any guys in here is/are able to sing "She's Gone" and pull off like the Korean singer (Kim Sang Min), please introduce yourself to everyone here. We'd be glad to have someone from Singapore to make us proud.

I wish they lessened the reverb tho, I wanna hear his tone more...

Thats not the worse song to cover for a male by steelheart. The worst song is "Never let you go" from steelheart also. There's one part where he hits long g# note in the middle of the song. I think its the its the 3rd or 4th? not sure here from the middle of the piano. In my opinion she's gone is more widely covered because it is more manageable as compared to never let you go. I saw quite a number of decents covers on youtube. And locally i believe there are also a number of vocals able to handle she's gone.
However i never seen anyone cover never let you go on youtube or locally before. Go search for never let you go by steelheart on youtube and watch that long g# note its insane.

If i'm not wrong, this should be the original version to Zhang Hui Mei's "Jie Tuo"? If it is, i have sang this song a few times during gigs. I did it with C key. Kinda struggling but managed to maintained on track.

I know of a friend by the name of Gilbert who is a Philippino. He currently plays and sings at Roomful of Blues. He used to do "She's Gone" when he was the vocalist with the "Energy" Band (after Douglas O left I think). Same type of effortless carrying that high note. The only sad thing is there is no video taken but I think Gilbert himself has a recording of the song done by the band at that time.

The most admirable part about him is that he did this song every single night when they were playing at METZ and then One Night Stand, the finale of 3 sets after all that GNR and Bon Jovi stuff. Very surprising that his voice is still good nowdays.

Guess he won't be singing that song anymore now that he is a solo guitarist and singer.

I know a singer who can pull this song off, hes super duper good his name is Yani, and he's with the band Shaggies, but i have not tried to search the band on youtube.com *Shrugs* dunno if they have posted the vid of the band.
