u see if u were to ask who is the best musician in the world ... a lot of common answers will be given but if you narrow it to sg alone ...your answers will be names or people you never heard of. which i believe some are of world class standard too.

i dunno if its the same guy but drummer: Fairuz, he holds the stick traditional style. nice, nice guy. bumped into him in Bukit Timah forest while riding MTB long time ago...

guitar: Kang Yang, dunno if he plays in the club circuit now. but fingerstyle jazz player. reminds me of Charlie Hunter. nice, nice guy too...

another guitarist: Mus, used to play with Energy, without Douglas now.

bassist: Hassan with the Bushman coz he holds the groove real well...

vocals: can't remember his name, but sings with Tribe. he still works with Act 3 i think. smooth, strong vocalist. nice guy...

percussion: Rahman from Bushmen, he's the only one who comes to mind. remember he guest played with Moods in Zouk. blends in real smooth... he dun overplay...

talking about Fairuz, i remembered he told me he tried to get an endorsement deal with Paiste. i'm not sure if he managed to send any material (he mentioned video) of his performance to Paiste. hope he did! and good luck to him too!
