Behringer UM100 setup for A7X tone...

how the hell do u expect some famous artrist tone to come in a pedal , wad's u're amp , wad's u're guitar , wad other pedals do u have.

not possible.. anyways imo, dont try to copy a7x tone.. its just mesa type crunch tone ...
just find ur own town..
since ur playing a7x, try getting a bassier crunchy tone and with loads of sustain for the solo.. :)

Maybe he just wants to play their songs. But yeah, don't expect to find the same tone using just your pedal.

To replicate an artist tone, players can purchase ALL of the artists equipments (which will total up to thousands of dollars) yet still sounds different..
Why is this so?
Its the PLAYING which also comes into the account.. The intensity of your picking, accentuating particular notes, etc etc..

My suggestion? Go for the tone which you deem best for that pedal.. If it sounds good; then it probably is..

like what the others said, impossible to fully imitate their tone. i dont think you have mesa-boogies, and all their other effects...so just come up with your own tone.

amen. you dont have to sound like them to play their songs well. check out steve vai's take on little wing. or paul gilbert's take on purple haze. their stuff are way different from hendrix's but they still played them well.

the tone is in your fingers...
if u could get their exact equipment...
plus their talent
plus their fingertips

maybe u can get close to their tone
