Why don't you get a separate USB mike. Then you can use the output of the UCA202, which is at least better than the onboard sound of most laptops and desktops.
You can also download a low latency USB driver for the UCA202 from behringer's website so that you can use VST or VSTi with minimal latency.

Visited the House of Worship show today at MBS. Behringer is there with their latest X32 mixer. That really blown me away. Full digital at only SGD7000 price mark. Very easy handling even for a beginner in Digital Mixing like myself.
