i've heard the behringer GT2 ripoff...it sounds absolutely terrible..but for 60 bucks...what the hell. i'd love to see the price they go for used in a few months or so.

i have one of those new behringer EQs...the absolute WORST,shoddly made piece of crap i have ever had the misfortune of owning. flimsy plastic construction, terrible switch, and tonnes of noise with all the bands set FLAT.
i've heard otherwise... some people say the Behringer GDI 21 is as good or even SURPASS the Sansamp GT2...

and some also say the Behringer X V-amp amp moddeller/multi efx is better than a Line6 pod 2 as it sounds almost like it and, although not as much effects, has an inbuilt padel for control of various effects like wah...

so whos right whos wrong? y got 2 extreme sides of the story 1?

i'd love to check them out but currently having prelims... :(

can any1 help?

I dont really have the X-vamp, But i do have the V-amp2. From my point of view, Its really a great Amp Modeller. Really reccomend you to get this if you cant really afford a Line 6 POD. I havent really tried the POD Line 6 yet.

Soundwise, it turns out really great if you know what sound you are really looking for. Theres actually a yahoo group dedicated to V-amp2, Definitely a must GO webbie if u really own a V-amp2,

Currently planning to get the MIDI pedal for the V-amp2. Definitely a great stuff to add on to ur collection.

yeah difinately... the v-amp2's good... together with a padel its much better ... but so ex i cannot afford lah!

lol looking for a cheaper alternative so thus the X V-amp... but i can see from the specs there are many differences leh... i've treid the X V-amp but cannot compare to anything cuz i don't use efx pedals much...

1st pedal... haiz bo liu ah.. owe phone bills owe net bills... GAA!!!

Why not save up a lil more for the Vamp2? The Xvamp cost 120 and the Vamp2 cost about 220-240.

Some of the Amp modeller in the X-vamp is similar to the Vamp-2. Im sure they will be similar. Maybe you'll have to wait for the others for their opinions too. :D

u have to take note tht behringer's production stadard is not constant, so it might be possible tht they produce gd stuff but have a few flukes here & there & tht person might jus be the sway one to get it

hmm sounds logical...

oh... the x v amp has got the in - buil pedal ma... the v-amp 2 doesn't

Behringer is the saviour to all poor people like me, they provide the cheap alternative, I see nothing wrong with that. If its sounds good then its good.I mean ibanez started out making copies of les pauls and strats. So behringer may become the next ibanez.....who knows

the thing is, whether it is as good or almost as good... or totally sux... i see some new behringer pedals arrival at luthers...

hmm... theres an overdrive/disortion pedal that was accused of a BOSS OS-2 pedal... and i see a wah pedal too... wwait.. theres this tube overdrive too... wahh!!!

are they good and close to the more renowned brands? cuz really.. i think all these effects sound be at behringer price...

i prefer to refer it to tokai

oh please, behringer products are good. the quality is there. their compressors and GEQ are good for semi pro. not talking about pro, that that's another thing altogether. they do have some over heating problems, and tend to be heaver, probably dut to lacking of technology/knowledge/money factor. if you're going on a budget but want quailty products for semi-pro uses, behringer is a good altanative. however what makes a difference between a dbx rane or stuff is that the output quality is better, as it it sounds good naturally(presuming all other equipment are of comparable quality). behringer is very close to meeting the standard. however huge concert or pro recording cannot afford to use cheaper quality stuff as even 10db-5db noise level make a hell of a difference. assuming in the concert when all the speakers are blusting so loudly, and when everything tones down, ther noise can be heard! deadly!

hey i tried their distortion/overdrive pedal... found it not bad... i'm not sure bout their wah pedal though... cannot compare to anyuthing cuz its their first i've tried

you get what you pay for basically. for the price i paid for the EQ, i wasn't expecting much in terms of contruction/reliability but i was NOT expecting heaps of noise and hiss with all the bands set flat.
