The clip's a bit muddy but just imagine the tone from the clip with more clarity and note definition. I would have gotten one if not for my gas for a bigger amp.

The blackheart sounds decent. Clip is muddy as per youtube though. Pedals are a must for harder distortion though. The blackheart is designed to be up to plexi distortion levels.

i more or less settled with my choice. it's maybe Marshall DSL50 with " havent decide" Cabinet.. just need to upper my budget more. hope my dutch gf will forgive heehee.

it's abt 1299( price quoted by zzsound) so converted will be likely 1899SGD..

i think this video would really help many to decide for a decent tube amp.vj vs blackheart.

Why is the VJ overdriven? Can't be the tubes cracking up at only half volume..
But it sounds pretty darn awesome.. Can't really compare to the Blackheart since its different cabs.. But the VJ is nicer..

he was using some effects thru to both the vj and blackheart.well both sounds good to me but the best was vj.nice tone and simplicity.


if peavey then look out for 6505 thats available at Sweelee BB outlet.3k+ for the half-stack i think.

if you want to get a Marshall, be sure to order one from Davis. according to them, Singapore has a trade agreement with England, so English goods such as Marshall amps are much cheaper here.

and yes.. Davis' prices for Marshalls is much cheaper than US prices.

anyway, you won't be able to order a 220V version easily from the US. not to mention the killer shipping charges for an amp.

well that info is what i heard from davis. not sure how true it is, but their marshall prices are really good compared to US prices. heck, they're even cheaper than UK prices!
