2 reasons
the more politically correct one is
i din have a media pass
and the crowd was too over whealming for mi to get to the front of the barricade

the other reason was
they're not really my cup of tea
and i was more interested in gettin a good spot fo Lunarin

i can see that Lunarin is good.. wasted my ankle got injured, cant make it to Concave Scream set as well.

It's been quite awhile.

The beauty of Baybeats..all you need is 1 band to make your nite.
I was glad I got rejected from going into the arena to shoot..so managed to get to Astreal's set earlier..got a good seat and managed to have a chat with ya.

but watching these bands made me Nostalgic man
haven played a gig in years

Lunarin blew me away, as expected.
they're just so... unique. in a local context.

neway' how the heck did you enter the barricaded area? i even emailed the organiser.. and they turned me down saying i'm not from a media co. .. what crap!?

i've been dying to get a pass from them.. and i wanna know how because i thought i take quite decent shots

all shots were taken from the public area
or in the case of the chill out stage, sittin on the floor infront of the first row

Err..being part of the media is what gets you into the photopit. So that's not crap. It's part of a 'job'. Esplanade held a contest to select official photographers for the event about 1 month ago. 60 participated but only 5 with the best portfolio were selected. They are the official ones and only they besides the media could go into the photopit to shoot, provided they had a pass.

Do upload some pix into the gallery if you took any. Hope to see some of your pix and work towards getting a pass next year.

I'm still in the midst of uploading the pix I took over the 3 days. I've already uploaded some. Do check them out in the soft gallery.
