Batman Is Dead.

Okay I know this is rather delayed, but for those you guys who don't know, Batman/Bruce Wayne has apparently been killed off in the latest issue.

As a Batman fan I'm pretty much upset about it, but what pisses me off most was how the entire storyline arc ends and the way Bruce Wayne dies. I'm trying to keep this post spoiler-free, but I have to say that it's more fitting of a Jackie Chan movie than the Dark Knight himself. When you compare it to epic comic deaths like Jason Todd, The Sandman/Morpheus and Captain America, the way Batman dies is downright disappointing.

I'm pretty much torn up about wanting the comic series to have some conviction and for Bruce Wayne to stay dead, and wanting my Batman back. Argh this sucks.

Aiyah, death plays quite a role in the comic book world. Let it be villains or heros, they will somehow make a comeback. Let it be a few years down the road or a few issues later.

Even in animes or mangas like Naruto. According to the manga storyline, alot of the characters are either dead or getting killed. A little similar in what happen in Transformers Generation 1, the original animated movie I mean. Look at Optimus Prime, hahah wanna count how come backs he did?

well if superman can get paralyzed, batman can die; after all he's a mortal man without any superpowers.

maybe dc can have a alternate timeline like marvel and have a spinoff where batman doesn't die

Maybe the Batman who died is a clone, just like how Aunt May came back to life in Spider-man. Let the clone saga begins.......
