looks like an electronica board, seeing the iron ether stuff. what sort of music do u play? board looks super heavy as well..

Believe it or not right now you could say I'm in an acoustic trio haha. Things are going to change though, just joined the NUS EML. Got the IE pedals because I heard a lot of good reviews and wanted to try out a new wah sound. Rearranged the board slightly, will upload later.

i'm very much into electronica for the past few years already. you can check my link below.

efx wise have a few things on my board which hasn't changed much. but looking at the iron ether products they seem pretty awesome. lemme know if u wanna sell em. i'm interested in getting those. :)

haha eh nice stuff man! hmmm right now the xerograph deluxe is on sale for US$215, and I think a guy on talkbass is selling it too. Probably won't sell my iron ether pedals man haha. Gonna try using this board for church when I next play there. Saw the pictures on the site, I use a fender jazz too haha also in olympic white man. Do you have a moog?

added the memory boy for delay, nice warm delay tones. Also put the MXR Bass Compressor before the Fishman Preamp.

yes i have a moog lowpass for a few years already. the xerograph is a lot smaller, but i'm not sure whether its a CV in/out. i also have the moog mp201 to control a pitchfactor and do lfos, all syncing to the drummer and synths.

The xerograph has no cv in or out as far as I know, but it has a trs jack for an expression pedal to control the frequency. But moog is pretty pricey, maybe when I have enough cash I'll take a look at the slim phatty- looks pretty cool. Sounds like a great setup man, can control everything from the mp201 right?

Nice board Kester! Great choice of pedals. Kinda of an overkill for a church service though. I'm thinking of putting together a small board for church since I don't really use too much. How's the MXR Compressor? Been looking at either the MXR, the Empress or the FEA? All have great reviews but the MXR has the smallest footprint (not to mention the cost)

Heard it's as good as the fea, but the fea has more features. Not sure if the bass compressor is available in Singapore yet, I ordered mine from the states- in may haha. It does it's job well, I use it mostly as a limiter, the led meter is super useful. Best way to find out is to try it, since you're playing for church just let me know if you do!

the bass compressor is available at davis for $200, which is a pretty good deal considering that it costs US$189 right now. Also, I put all the extra pedals I had into one board... and it sounds decent. Built the pedalboard with stuff that I had around the house.

basically just an ikea gorm board with a wah, os-2, coolcat tremolo, green rhino od, Formula no.5 Amp sim/OD, T-rex Squeezer comp, powered by a belcat power distributor (which is powered by the t-rex power supply that came with the compressor).

anyone knows where to get pedals modified? thinking of switching the switches in some of my pedals and my looper, the switches are too noisy.

Hmm, I've been wondering about changing some switches for the same reason. Not sure how viable it'd be to change everything to "soft touch" switches, especially for more complicated things like an M9. Would be a huge improvement for ambient gigs and church use though.

Think Sound Alchemy and TYMC do replacements of footswitches. Can check with them. Replacing it on digital effects like the M9 is not going to be easy though.

BTW I've picked up the MXR Bass Compressor from Davis. Need to spend some time with it yet. Maybe over the weekend. And just nice my name is up on the Opti-FET list so I may just pick it up as well to do a comparison. Thinking one for my main board and the other for a smaller board.

Oh ok cool I'll go ask them when I'm free, just doing it for the analog pedals, so hopefully it should be straightforward. Not sure exactly which switch I want, but I know I don't want the pop sound when I turn the pedal on/off. Let me know how the FEA sounds haha, it got pretty good reviews on talkbass!
