5 5stringedsoul New member Mar 25, 2005 #1 as above, which bass pickups are the best in the market now?
C Colarndo New member Mar 26, 2005 #2 EMGs are pretty popular. Some people like to throw in a Bartoni for a different sound.

Depends on what you are looking for. As mentioned, EMGs & Bartolini are popular. So are Dimarzios & Duncans. Some other notable bass pickup manufacturer's include Aero & Nordstrand, but they do cost more.

P Prataz New member Mar 26, 2005 #6 I'm currently using DiMarzio Model P n J The tone is quick sweet and it's quite high output. I'm using it for metal, rock, funk, blues etc. But I would love to try an EMG or Bart to see if they are really worth it. hahaha
