Hi sorry new to drum and all. i play a bit of drums am curious is there a way to set the BD pedal to heels up or do you need to get a seperate one cos all the jamming places uses heels down.

Dun quite get wat u mean. In terms of heel up, heel down or heel toe, its all technique, nuthin to do wif the positioning of the pedals.

my perception is that...

heels down, meaning resting the heel is on the floor and when you kick its like tapping your feet.

heels up, meaning resting toes down with heel inclined upwards and when you kick its pushing your heel down.

my question is.

can the BD pedal be ajusted to support heels down and then ajusted to support heels up again? or is a seperate pedal needed.

Yes, i noe wat those heely thing is all abt. Like i said, its all abt technique. Nothing to do wif pedal setup and u cant set pedals tat way. Or wat u could do is to get a dw 5000/9000 pedals and buy the heel-plate extensions.

If you want, you could get this pedal. Regular pedals can't be adjusted to work this way.

VERY expensive though. Will come up to SGD$700 plus.

At that price, I'd rather get a Trick Pro 1-V pedal...

the best is u get the longboards, currently holding the title of the longest foot pedal.. ( i know of ) and buy the extention called VRUK.. even the WFF (world fastest feet) tim waterson uses the axis longboard and the vruk pedals...

hey bro.. actually i think heel up is all about technique.. not adjusting pedal? haha just tip toe on the pedal thats heel up.. yup
