bass drum mount

hey guys, need ur help here.

i'm looking for a bass drum mount tht suspends itself on the bass drum. something tht swivels and gives me more mobility instead of just punching straight into the bass drum

why not get a tom mount that attaches itself to a cymbal stand? no toms on your bass drum = more low end.

yes the tom holder tht is attached to the bass drum. i'm looking for one thts sorta like the ayotte turret tom holder. it slides in all directions.

funkified- yah my current yet is set up without a tom holder on my bass drum. the thing is tht a dlb tom holder is freaking heavy, or u need really heavy duty cymbal holders to be able to hang toms off. they weight a ton. and when i'm gigging often my back doesn't thank me in the morning.
and i hate it when i want the tom closer but the cymbal stand its on further if u get my drift. and u muffle bass drums to kill the resonaces anyway, so it doesn't really matter now does it? more low end actually comes from the way u play ur bass drum. leave it on the head and u kill resonance, take it off and there's more. i find the "hanging" tom trend is abit of hog wash. gd marketing it is.


i'm looking for the sliding system. DW has one but it dun look very cool.
any help wld be mucho appreciated

DW has a sliding mount. look at more sets, i played one a mth ago tht did.

weckl x- yes thts wat i'm looking for. the taye mount. i wld put a vintage mount but i like 2 toms . the dunnet mount is pretty cool huh. i saw one in sydney. they got a whole range of his snares. the variable air hole system he has is freaking cool and such a gd idea. can't wait to see wat he comes up with next. check out his gull wing bass drum legs, their like an exact copy of ayotte's spurs man. patent infringement anyone?
