Recently bought a carlos drumset from a fellow softy. so ill be honest here. when she delivered the drums to my place i thought it was all fine, she didn't tell:mad: me anything was wrong, until, the lugs with the tension rods came off. i knew it couldn't be my fault cause i saw that there was glue on the lugs. so i smsed her back and she said that yeah, she had pasted it back. and din't inform me. and she said it was my responsibility to check it first (which i did). how was i suppose to know that there was two out of 8 lugs are at fault.told her that if that was the intial problem in the first place i wouldn't have bought it at all. she also said that the two lugs which had mysteriously "fell off" and it will not affect the sound of the bass drum which was utter nonsense.
okay so now, yup i don't wanna cry over spilt milk. does anyone know how much it'll cost to fix the problem? thanks. oh btw she was this " have2think" . that was her i.d

What you can do is remove one of the lugs, bring the whole piece complete with mounting screws, claw and tension rod to Ranking Music (Bras Basah). They stock some replacement parts. The only thing is to find a match with the existing lug.

I've experienced this problem with a Carlos snare too - was auditioning at a pub. 3 lugs were totally loose. Didn't really matter in that case because the pub owner had muffled the **** outta that poor drum anyway.
