I am currently looking for another dealer for B.C Rich besides Davis Guitar in singapore... need it for a friend... thankx

If u're talking about a shop that carrys, B.C rich. Davis carries majority of it.

But if u dun mind, u can try BGWGuitars.com Brendon. He's can bring in B.C Rich guitars for u at competitive prices. U can just drop him an e-mail for a price quote. Lotsa ppl have smooth deals with him.
Cust svc excellent.

Cheers! Peace :)

Davis is the official dealer for BC Rich. If there's no where else, try another brand. There're other brands offering nasty shapes as well, like the Dean guitars that Music Theme brings in. LTD by ESP also has some really nasty shapes.

lemonade93: I think schecters not aggressive enough for his friend haha.

Brendon can do competitive prices compared to shipping in yourself through Vpost etc... But Davis has one of the most competitive prices in town. The Takamine G Series Acoustic i wanted, he quoted me around 200 bucks more. But he's an individual, Davis is a international firm or something... Brendon can bring in a lot of variety, and it's competitive alright, but if you wanna compare with Davis it's gonna be hard to beat.

THIS NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH?!?!

Haha but back to the topic, I guess Davis would bring them in at a cheaper price, even though the service is..... uhh.... lacking

Not trying to be a wet blanket or anything similar but I bet Davis could give Brendon a run for his money if they wanted to monopolise the market. Easily.

Agreed. But on the other hand, Davis would be unlikely to bring in ALL the shapes... Some shapes are considered more 'unpopular' and they might make a loss on these particular ones. So for these less popular ones, consumers can go to Brendon for them...

Agreed, Davis prices ARE quite reasonable compared to others :)

Versatility is in the hands of the player, not the guitar .

@TS

If thats not aggresive enough, HOW BOUT THIS!!!!

If you're the type of guitarist who really makes creative use of his/her effects, amp or guitar's tone and volume controls, a single bridge pickup can really do quite a lot. :) Of course, it depends on what you want. But for some players like myself, just a bridge pickup is enough.

Always remember that if you buy from a shop, you can try the guitar before buying. If you order it in, you won't be able to try the guitar first. If it turns out that you don't like the guitar after all, you're gonna make a loss trying to sell it.

Neck and bridge pickups got different sounds. That's it, simple as that, isn't it? No matter how creative you wanna be, you have your limitations with just on pickup.

Ultimately, it's down to the player. For some, a single pickup is enough. For others, a variety of pickups is preferred. There's a reason why manufacturers make single pickup guitars. There is a demand for them.

Sounds doesnt mean from a guitar, alot of stuff come into play, pedals, amps. And each of these have an EQ. with every EQ changed, there is a different sound, a guitar plays a role in getting the sound, but the rest DEFINE the sound. A humbucker with coil tap MAY and usually SHOULD sound like a single coil, no to forget a tone knob. Dynamics of playing and all give different sounds.

If one plays in a top 40/jazz/pub band, I dun think he/she will get an aggressive guitar anyway.

Those monsters are meant to rock out and headbanging. Who cares about versatility :D

i always wants a beast myself
