AXL mulit effects

yeah I have it, its very fun, cheap and nice.

The Od's are great, from low gain to full on Stack-sound like with a flick of a switch,I dun play metal so I dunno how to comment about the metal distortion section.

It does have the EQ for you to tweak the freqs though.

I sent an email to the makers asking if it was really analog or digital judging from the price I paid i thought it was digital.

Here's his response below.

Cheers!

Hello XXX,

All of the effects in our multi pedal are analog. We wanted to keep it very simple and inexpensive. They have become quite popular here in the U.S.

Thanks for asking!

Best regards,

Mark Hohman

wow, analog, sounds good?

Snuff, is this available locally? Where did you get yours, and how much?

I bought in locally second hand, but it was sorta brandnew, I think its quite cheap if you get it direct too, should be around Sgd300plus?

Was actually thinking of getting the quattro as i dig the concept, but this baby is quite amazing, as it is not that big(compact)It is arnd maybe 45 cm long i think but its not wide at all, and it has an onboard tuner, and the sounds are surprisingly good.

i bought it for fun but am really surprised at the capabilities.

It comes with its own small carrying case and an adaptor(9v)

Its a sleeper hit i say :D

think theres a unit displayed in the glass cabinet counter at davis the last time when i was there couple of months back. Perhaps they bring in locally

davis brought it in a couple of mths ago for trial, I believe.

Pretty cool unit, simple n functional. I plugged it into a marshall ministack, didn't really like the sounds I got, but it might be the amp. If you do like the sounds, then it's a real good set, with all the advantages that bro snuff mentioned.

For a bit more, you can get more established multi efx sets like POD XT Live and BOSS GT8, but if you really don't need the plethora of sound options, the AXL might suit ur needs well.

yup you could get the POD or GT8, but remember that they are digital efx, and that this is analog.

For the price, I think no harm trying it out or buying it. My pedalboard weighs 10 times heavier than this, so this is just for fun practice when my friends come over to my place for jamming and when I'm too lazy to use my main pedalboard.

OD- 2 modes- normal and turbo
Dist- many knobs to tweak(highs mids, low mids etc)
Chorus- also tweaker's heaven-many knobs
Analog delay- Warm

Tuner- straightforward and nothing fancy
:D

omg,I'm so interested! damn! it's analog?

but yeah,it doesn't have that many variety of pedals in it..it's basically like 4 analog pedals blended into one right? or am I wrong?

but I'm damn interested in it..

no clips, havent played it much yet due to lack of time, yup its 4 analog pedals in one, minus the patch cables , minus the glam, and minus the inconvienience :D
