ATTENTION Ibanez Edge Pro users

I for one, will definitely not be needing it since i only use the trem for flavour. Quote from the email Rich replied when i asked about them "If you're having no trouble, why bother?" :D

Put simply, the studs aren't secure, so there is movement whenever you use the floyd. Over time it'll round the wood around the stud. The upgrade is about securing the stud and prevent unneccessary movements in the trem. I personally feel that if you don't abuse the bar or use it as much, then it ain't necessary, but that's because i find the mod a troublesome thing to do too

I can live without it, since my edge pros are rather stable. People will think twice opening up their JEM or JS for sugery when there is nothing wrong.

Ah... if you have read thru the above link, there is NO surgery required. NO cutting or anything that is not reversible.

And there IS something wrong... the problem might not be obvious now but go do the check thats described in the link... you might find out that you DO have the problem...

Btw... did you read that link? ;)

Pooo.. you missed out the tuning stability concerns.... its not just the wood that will be affected.
