i think they are gd, very nice esp lip gloss & black, ex's & oh's etc. their drummer does the singing parts & the vocalists does the sceaming parts, damn cool sia.

they rock, but i prefer stuff from bfmv & trivium though haha.

i think its A-TREH-YOU. i heard one of their live vids on youtube. the frontman said sth like 'thank you we're atreyu' just before the solo in lip gloss & black. dats the best part man.

It has recently come to my attention that dubious bands claiming to be "metalcore" keep plaguing the site, despite some efforts to ward them off.

The rules have officially been updated to reflect the policy about metalcore bands. The following section has been added to the list of bands to avoid submitting:

"Metalcore, unless it's clearly more metal than core (e.g Shadows Fall, The Red Chord, Mastodon are OK: Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine are NOT). If you are uncertain, best avoid submitting metalcore bands altogether."

nobody said metalcore was accepted in metal. let metal be metal and metalcore be metalcore. i agree both are pretty far apart musically but no reason to start flaming and comparing 'soft hitting' metalcore bands to 'hard hitting' metal ones. different subgenres pop up every now and then. either you like it, or you dont.
