Asus GS1 or Dell M1530

I'm plannin on gettin a laptop for personal and school use.
Currently i'm stuck and i dont know whether to get the Asus GS1 or Dell M1530

The specs for both are rather similar but i've checked reviews of both laptops and they always dont mention the cons of these lappys

so anyone who owns either of this laps can give me some feedback

What matters in a laptop are the build quality of the chassis, layout of components like USB ports, expansion slots, card readers, touchpad etc (a good layout is one which you feel very comfortable with). Other than that, you have to look at your needs and judge which one has the best combination of hardware for those needs.

Underneath, it's pretty much the same. Compare 2 laptops from different vendors but the same hardware components, both will give you the same performance. Watch out for warranties, like dead pixel warranty (for the monitor) and so on.

My personal recommendation would be the Asus, but if it's gonna be a laptop, get a Mac If you can spare the dough, a Macbook Pro.

yeah i'd most prolly get the asus.
