Hey just wonder if any of you softies here are artist or designers or working in the creative industries. You can be an illustrator, graphics designer, painter(traditoinal or digital),web designer, motion graphics designer,animator(3d or 2d),concept artist, storyboard artist, sculptor, photographers, the list just goes on...

Student of art, design are welcomed as well.

Dont mind shaing your experiences working in these industries or taking a course related to these.:)

Get the ball rolling let me start first,I am a year 2 Digital Media Design student specialising in games design this year.My course does game concept art,3D models, game level and interfaces design but we don't programme the game.Got into the games specialisation becausemy results were too poor to get into interactive media design track. My interest are mainly illustrations, graphic design, drawing and concept art,and also photography.

Hello there! Seems like your course is pretty similar to mine... well I'm not too sure. I'm from Internet and Multimedia 3rd year. Hmm I'm in the option of web developing and web designs... there's another option in my course that does 3D animation, similar to the stuff you do.

My course is classified under IT though, because they emphasize more on the technical parts rather than the design aspects.

I enjoy my stay throughout my course :)

I'm not good at drawing though, more on graphic editing (photoshopping) and photography. Cheers!

My course was once part of sch of design but later it became a new school called interactive and digital media where this IT course called Digital Entertainment Technology joined the interactive and digital media school sometime back in 2006.(I think)

My course is more of design and digital arts because we were required to learn basic drawing, colour theory, design fundamentals, typography, digital imaging and basic 2d animation in our year 1.I don't like 3D,I hate 3D,I m more into 2D art, both digital and traditional. My course don't do games programming, its the digital entrtainment tech people doing it for us.

Nice to meet you Kaye:)Wonder where are the other artist and designer softies?Haha
