"Live for the Moment" (LFTM) was founded as a movement in 2010 and has now re-established itself as a record label in 2012. The objectives of LFTM are to market and promote local Chinese bands on a global scale, cultivating creativity and originality in music making.
We have been actively performing in Singapore's Chinese Indie music scene since year 2007; to name a few events - Esplanade's Chinese Festival of Arts in February 2010, in local clubs like Homeclub , the ark at Scape youth lab, Music Matters Live 2010 in Hong Kong, Come On Rock 2011 in Johor Bahru, Spring Scream 2010, 2011 & 2012 in Taiwan.
Each band had their own achievements to speak of, but most significantly, we came together with a common dream - to promote the presence of Chinese Indie music.
In the near future, we plan to expand by extending our reach to other local bands who believe in our mission. We hope that LFTM can provide a concrete platform for the bands to establish their influence in their music creativity and originality to the masses. And with their professionalism, they will attain monetary returns to further support their mission in creating a valued market for the local music scene.
