Armchair Critic covers Postbox!

we were just fooling around, this was meant to be a "testing take", as you can hear the fella say.

but we thought it was quite spontaneous and fun so we choose to just use it =)

really? i thought we were almost identical!

maybe it's the hair.

I thought that the playing/singing in this video was acceptional, could be better but decent attempt.

But the acting at the intro of the video was seriously very gay and immature, i thought. I wondered what if a professional musician/producer from overseas or a big label might think about it? They might have a bad impression of the behaviour and think all Singaporean bands are immature and childish.

Just my thoughts, I'm sure you all have your reasons as well.

did you guys put the vid up for the sake of putting it up?

Hey Joshua!

Why So Serious? xD

we were just fooling around, you can hear RG going "okay practice take" at the beginning. It was impromptu and unplanned. We can definitely do better in terms of the vocals and the guitars, but we choose to use the first take because it was fun and spontaneous.

As for impressions, i do doubt that people who are actually in the business are so quick to pass judgement. We don't take ourselves too seriously, and you shouldn't either =) You can look around and find videos of various bands from the Warped Tour playing with their nipples for breast cancer awareness or singing aloud comically to rap and hip hop. Slash and Axl have some funny videos of them fooling around in an airport, and so do Zac and Josh of Paramore. We're all human, and we all like to have fun.

There are, of course, serious and actual on-stage performances from us in our YouTube channel, which you or anybody else can check out as well. ;)

Thanks for listening, and thanks for giving input!

visa : I showed this vid to samantha and she liked it. personally i felt it was pretty interesting twist you guys did with the vocals heheh. keep it up.
