Sorry I'm bored at work and it's 9pm. Maybe it'll be best to have some intro on what you do, and well, if you're jaded or not. it'll be best to leave coy names out unless you really don't wanna keep your job. haha

I'll roll on..

I'm a sound designer/composer (somewhat). and yes, my boss(es) are pricks and I'm very jaded. I first considered the fact that maybe I'm hard to work with, but it's been tested on and proven by many many counterparts, that no. it's not my working attitude.

the only reason why i'm here is because it's darn close to my house and it puts food on the table.

anything else, i'll gladly give a bullet to each of bosses. hell, i'll empty the entire clip. but yeah, i just hate it when there's biasness involved. basis of biasness? i'm the only one that doesn't 'speak their language' (primarily english speaking). sigh.

good grief. sorry i'm b*tching. heh

anyone care to console a broken soul? sigh.

heh, iam tired of myjob as well, but since it pay bills, put food on table and supply my gas fund, iam willing to sell my body and soul for it.

I always believe in, since iam the only one who can make changes in my life and if i dont have the courage to do anything to change it, i will continue to sell my body and soul, plus looking happy to carry the ballz of who ever needed that!

End of the day, i get what i wanna while the people get their ballz stroke, iam ok with it

yes they aren't. very much in fact. in a matter of fact, one of bosses had to get me to type an official letter to the client cos he didn't even know where to begin.

is your mouth open already? yes believe it. it's one of the many 'miracles' i see everyday.

well, my english isn't the best (thanks for the compliment tho), but i get by and at least i don't have to ask ppl what they mean when they ask a simple request.

haha, except that i dont work like a dog, i slack/sleep/play psp/dslite at any instances i can, when at work.

But of course, i try to work as well when people looking over my shoulder(primary) and in time when effort is really needed(secondary). Otherwise, its all napping, eating, smoking and playing!

Iam a whore(people pay me, i lie down), chess piece(player controlling me), toilet paper/condom(used and disposed) as long as iam working for people.

Till the day i become the paying customer, the player playing game of chess or the hand that hold the toilet paper wiping ass or dick that wear the condom, i shall try to be happy, even if iam not

haha. well i ve not had to work for a living yet so i cant really say anything much. But i think that if im thinking about long term, i d rather work in something i can find joy in. Not necessarily my ultimate favourite hobby or anything but as long as i can see some enjoyment in it and it pays bills, i dont see why i would mind.

Of course then theres all the other factors. environment, politics.. ahh. Have a few beers

And yea the official letter u had to do in place of ur boss is quite.. heh.

last time when i study, i also tell myself, i wont ever work in any stupid line which has got to do with what i study and shall work for things i enjoy and love.

in the end, i lan lan, put LJ in mawth(chui tak lan) and work in a line which i need for survival. In the end, it aint as bad as i think when i was younger. And then office politics is fun, but make sure you are the one playing it when people jump on to your head and not be the one who initiate it. Must have reaction when see action. If action action without seeing reaction, like that easily will die first

Hehe, people dun disturb, we all love love, people come kah jiao, make sure you make back 2x the person who piak around with you. But of course, if its the boss piaking you, then bend over and be piaked

couldn't agree more. and well, i have to say that i love your way of putting things! hahaha hilarious!

my advice to all, i'm one mofo that actually IS doing what he USED to like. yes, i love audio, i love composing, i love sound design. i USED to be able to sit down, hours on end, and finish audio/music projects. now i can hardly write a note without wanting to thrash the computer.

so well, it's po heng sway (alot to do with luck) i guess. if you have a good, inspirational boss, then you're very lucky. if not, well.. i think you can stick your head in the sand.

sigh. still, it's always better to NOT do what you enjoy doing, cos if you do, your enjoyment becomes a job. and then, once your job (9-5) is over, you can't really enjoy anything else and you feel kinda lost. in a way la...

you can always go look for a new hobby... but i'm sure you'd all agree that nothing beats 'doing your first love' (both meanings of the phrase haha!) over and over again. and it kinda sucks when you can't really enjoy it anymore. occupational hazard if you will.

it's sorta like losing a best buddy.
