another metal drummer? hm the thing that makes him special is probably his ability to carry out those chops fantastically well, defined, clean and of great timing

Its a pity even after joining Angra in the 90's he never really became famous. Just recently he was included in some DRUM magazine festival and he didint even get good reviews compared to Tomas Haake and Benny Greb! I dont know what they have against him. Even drummerworld just added him this week...finally.

His double bass is crazy, not sure if their triggered because I can see both the triggers and mics on his drums......

he used to use the DW 5000 but now he is a Janus freak... I have only tried the single....has anyone tried the Janus Ergo double? And recently he's been going around doing drum clinics for PAiSTE Alpha series.
