applying lemon oil

nah no need johnsons and johnsons la. KY no money to buy nvm. just get from mikemann can already. anw he has so many bottles right  hahaha.

i use,

Dunlop 01 - Cleaner & Prep (feels and looks like normal cleaning alcohol)
&
Dunlop 02 - Deep Conditioner (suppose to be used only on rosewood fingerboard)

feel it's quite good ...
the fingerboard of my acoustic used to be abit "white" den after using the 02 Deep conditioner twice ... went back to it's original colour ~
and coz it comes in a set ... i clean my fingerboard more regularly ...~
havent tried lemon oil tho ... it looks so thick ... ~

ive used lemon oil "old english" for my fretboards and strings for about ...4 yrs? now... no damage to guitar what so ever... keeps strings slick and nice to play , moisturising spa for fretboard wood.

its not advisable according to malcom (guitar guru) but ive not had any bad effects on my guitars so i guess its fine.

There's a slight misunderstanding. Lemon oil is alright for Rosewood, Ebony or open grained wood. It's not advisable to use lemon oil for the back of an unfinished neck. Raw Maple necks should ideally be finished or maintained with Brichwood Casey "Tru-oil" and that's what manufacturers like Don Grosh, John Suhr, Ernie Ball, G and L......uses.

Mikemann, you forgot to mention about the pleasure-enhancing lubricant from Durex! haha!!!

It's for enhancing pleasure during play...
