Dear all, please give me recommendations for Apple repair shops located in the East side. I'm looking more for those unofficial, "unauthorised" Apple repair shops. Looking to fix the circle button for an iTouch.

same problem here. 1st gen button problem. need extreme pressure for it to work. was quoted $240. rather get a new one..

I'd strongly recommend you sending it to the authorised apple service centre where they would repair with proper care and charge reasonably. iTouch is pretty ol' school and the parts might come expensive because it has become pretty obscure.
Unauthorised dealers/servicing might just make it worse. ( a big risk really)
