anyone using .11s?

hey guys...

i'm currently on .10s right now and i've been contemplating switching to .11s..

anyone using .11s on their guitar?

if so..is there a huge gap playing wise?

bending it of course.......nth diffrent...more grip actually.......but it will be hard to bend...but when u play 11.s....and u practice ur bending there..and when u switch to 0.9......ur bending will be like a pro

11 sounds a lil more warm... but not really a big difference unless you squim your ears hard to listen... but even telling the difference between .9 and .10 would be a problem... for that bending part, you can re-do your setup, re-adjust your truss rod, or you could add more springs at the back, and 'float' it... then your bending your .11 would not be much of a problem... but if you're fickle minded and keeps on changeing guage(like me), just stick to .10... i'm currently on .11 for my strat right now...

I'm all for the 'TWANG'! hahaha...i guess i'll switch to .11s

For some weird reason...i absolutely love bends....maybe its just too much of country and SRV in my i-pod right now

if you love the twangs, try using guage .09s... it brings out the 'twangs' in your guitar...
