my friend recently gave me an Ibanez which he hasn't used in awhile. The floyd rose system has got problems and the volume knob, probably internal stuff too. I might wanna change the bridge to a normal one cause i find floyd rose bridges a hastle. And i haven't reached the legal age to work so i don't have much money. So i wanna find somewhere that can service guitars at a more affordable price. Any reccomendations? :(

pretty much standard prices everywhere. try guitar connection which does a really good job, no complaints man. but the price may hurt ur wallet, but its the same everywhere isnt it,

i suggest you save up to do the servicing. because..

if you compromise on payment, and get someone incapable to do so.the guitar will fall apart again later on.

if you pay a pretty high price for someone with reputation to service. you can at least be sure that things will be fine from here on.

if someone with reputation/experience fixes your guitar and charges you a lower price, and you do pay him more. it does show your appreciation for his work and I'm sure he'll entertain any after-sales-service or he'd put in more effort to do it his best.

hope this helps. i'm no guitar technician, but I had my amps serviced before, name a price and I will pay , and things turned out just perfect for me.
