Anyone knows how the GST Offset Package works?

How does it work for us?
It' quite confusing...

$200 will be given to every citizen? What about those serving NS?
And the kind of housing apartment one lives in?

The only thing i know is that it happens thrice a year... Anyone care to make some clarification?

if im not wrong, anyone above 21 yrs old will get it.including nsf personnel.

this is how it really works -

1. Govt gives you money.
2. You take the money.
3. You buy more gear with the money.
4. Repeat #3 until Account Balance = $0.
5. Repeat process next year.

Hmm, NSF will get 100 bucks the first year they qualify for the offset.
Then this year, we are entitled to 250 bucks in march 1st and july 1st. So this year we are getting 500 bucks, this is the max we can get depending on household income.
