Anyone heard of GFS pickups?

Yes. They are cheap and seems good to swap out with ur stock pups.
If u cant agree on what sound u are chasing after, try out gfs pups first as they are cheaper.
But with shipping, im not sure if its still cheap.
Im getting myself a set for my proj strat soon.

I have GFS Repro Vintage neck and Repro 1950s bridge pickups in my super modded J&D tele that I got off another softie. Other musicians have complimented the sound in a live band setting without knowing that I'm not holding a Fender.

Considering that a set costs less than one normal name-brand pickup, you should just give it a shot unless you need to spend $300 to feel good about your pickups ;)

I done the calculation. I'm more concerned about tone than brand. It's cheaper. Like it cost about SGD70 for a pickup including shipping.

Yeah wasn't implying anything about you. Definitely the sound quality and workmanship is there. It should cost even less than that if a pickup is about 35 USD, ask them to pack as small as possible.

I know, no worries. I'm not sure how they sound but I'm just gonna judge them base on the YouTube videos. I'm about to order an Alnico Humbucker from them. The pickup is about USD35++, and another USD12++ for shipping. They sound closer to SD's pickups but we'll see how it goes.

Wanna share shipping cost and u help me order my stuffs too? maybe a mass order something ? Hahas
Im serious about it. I'm getting the boston blues. and some small stuffs.

Bought some GFS before. They are not bad.
Better than most stock pups but not super impressive
